Just for art and fun
  1. And I need help with this two too. It’s for a reversible dress for my niece, in the pictures the blue look very similar, but one side has less shine and a paler blue.

In which one should I put the golden decorations?

I have to chose between the first pair or the second pair.

  2. Princess dresses designs for my niece.

  5. Castillo de Santiago, Sanlucar de Barrameda

  6. This morning I bought wood, tools and after all day cutting, carving, filing and polishing some parts this is how it looks now, two swords half made.
The right handle started started being a wooden cone, I held it in a drill and carved it with a gouge. It was exciting, I had never improvised a lathe.

did she get a haircut

does it make anyone else uncomfortable that they changed her entire race because she went out with Ron in their sixth year
isn’t that what happened???
they changed a character’s entire race because she as a character became important and relevant for a short amount of time

Wow.

Umm, no. They did not change her entire race simply because she dated Ron. Actually think about it. Up until the sixth book, she was a background character that was only ever mentioned in passing, so she wasn’t given a physical description. Then in the sixth book, Lavender was finally described, as having ‘pale skin and dirty blonde hair’. Well, the first few Harry Potter movies came out before the Half-Blood Prince book did, so the casting directors did what they wanted with the character.
Another thing, the Lavender Brown from the first few movies only appeared in the first few movies. Lavender didn’t even appear in the 4th and 5th movies, because again, she was a background character, and wasn’t vital to the story. The only reason her race was changed was because a physical description was finally in the books, and it didn’t fit what the directors had, so they had to recast her. It was not because she dated Ron.

Somebody spread this shit because I refuse to have this turn into some social justice bullshit

What would her race have mattered? So what she was described in the 6th book, Harry’s eyes are also green and Ron is tall. but you don’t see them recasting those roles. Neville has blonde hair but you don’t see them recasting that. They said fuck it and cast those kids anyway. but the second a character they cast in the background becomes important and gets a description that defines them as white they HAVE to change the casting. THAT is bullshit. Because WHAT DID IT MATTER THAT SHE WAS WHITE, why couldn’t they have kept a black girl in the role? So yea, spread this so people can know what an asshole you are.

The racism here started when they automatically decided that a girl called Lavender BROWN had necesary to be black instead of asking the writer for some descriptions for the background characters.
But it’s completly true that once thay had that girl in earlier movies they should have keep her because it was not inportant her race for the plot in any way.
So this has been racist twice, first by making a character black because of her name, and then for making her white ignoring her previous appearances in the saga when there was no need for it.

In the sculptures the centaurs are naked, like the humans killing them. But in many pictures they wear clothes like humans, they are as inteligent as a humans, and paceful and respect the nature.

I hate this palette, too much pink and too cheesy
Based in the original Greek one, from myth of Fineo, not the medieval interpratation of the harpy.

The original harpys were the daughter of Electra and Taumant, sisters of Iris. They were described as beautiful women with wings, specially beautiful hair.

Fineo, king of Tracia, was punished by Zeus locking him in an island with an eternal banquet which he could never eat because the harpys took the food he was about to take.
